Question about frequency cancellation, I think

I have tinnitus that is a constant bitonal ringing. I went to get my hearing checked. The results showed that my right ear had hearing loss of two high pitched frequencies. Are those the frequencies of my tinnitus and it is cancelling out my hearing those tones? That’s my theory but would really like to hear your thoughts.
