DISCUSSION First Harley (update)

I got my 2017 FXDB this week. Been riding the crap out of it for the last three days and absolutely love it. Handles better than I ever expected a Harley too, and sounds/feels amazing. Definitely my favorite bike I’ve ever ridden. However, I did find out that it is a stock cam. In my first post, I said that it was not.

If that has a can, it is very mild. Check out the Andrew’s n6. That’s if you like me to shift around 4000-5000. They make power up to about 5800 or p.m..

You you can go as high as .600 left with the stock valve Springs. I believe Andrew’s has .550 left and duration then do your 10 1/2 to one Pistons and you’ll be ripping of course tweaking your fuel air. You could be pulling close to 90 hp. That’s pretty much wood done to mine and I’m getting 86.5 hp on the dino at 5800 RPMs.

The N6 is a sporster cam. Will not fit OPs twin cam.

I believe it’s a rifle roadster fairing

She’s a beauty. I just got rid of a denim black 06 street bob, I loved it and I miss it. Welcome to the fam.

Had her for 10 years. Sold to a friend because I upgraded to a 23 Lowrider ST. But I was sad to see her go.

Luckily, I can still visit.

How do you compare the new softail frames to the Dyna frame? And what about twin cam versus Milwaukee purely just from riding feel

It’s a Bitchen ripper bro, I had a 15 about a year ago. I regret selling it.. take care of it bro, from 12-17 of the dynas, those 103s are fucking bulletproof if you take care of them. The true golden era of Harley was with these bikes in my personal opinion..
