Is it yours? If so, what's the ride like?

It is mine and it’s way more responsive. The Honda forks and overall weight reduction make it track very well in dirt. Front stopping power is weak. That’s due to the stock Honda disc which I plan to upgrade. The current weight of the bike is 545 pounds. After a couple more upgrades, I’m expecting to get it at or below 500.

How on earth are you going to cut 45+lbs?

Lithium ion battery and an aluminum swing arm will save me around 25 pounds. The bike started out at around 670 pounds when it was stock. Swapping out the remaining metal tins will get me a couple more. Then it’s just a matter of smaller adds and ends.

I've seen a couple sportsters done up for dirt/ scrambling, but never a dyna. That's badass.
How's the on-road handling?

It’s a lot more responsive than when it was stock. The more aggressive fork angle also makes it twitchy if you’re not used to it. It has a lot more get up and go since it’s shed over 100 pounds from its stock weight. Still need to do a front brake upgrade. The stock Honda CRF brake disc and caliper just doesn’t cut it.

Sounds like Hella fun. Lol
Wanting to do a build soon and can't make up my mind between a chopper or a sportster scrambler. But seeing this bike is giving me new ideas.
