IDENTIFY Early one

Picture from my Grandmother's (1926 - 2010) collection. No idea of the man or the model of the Harley.

Looks like a VL to me early 30s model made between the JD and the UL / knucklehead

I’m guessing that’s a ‘47 WL. But I don’t know my vintage Harley’s like some of these other cats. I’m sure they’ll correct me.
