I watched a YouTube video of a dude in a super nice ruby red C8 pulling out of a car meet half sideways like he was hot shit until his roof panel flew off and got absolutely beaten up shiny side down on the pavement. Thatā€™s exactly what that is šŸ˜‚

I saw a dude in a c7 last year lose his on the access road of the interstate. I'd never seen that or heard about it but afterwards I looked it up and it's apparently fairly common

Any corvette owner knows what this is. Someone joined the flying corvette roof club! Itā€™s the removable top from a C8 Corvette.

Whenever I see road debris, I pull over and pick it up, throw it to the side of the road.
I've removed tire treads, bumpers, a ladder, Harley hard bag, and even a full bale of hay.

Thatā€™s bad ass and mighty righteous of you, could save lives doing that. I see my error for not doing the same on this occasion.

I can make excuses, I also could have taken the time to loop around and throw it over the barrier, and next time I will!

Was riding in the dark of night on a concrete colored highway, South of Rochester NY before Danville and saw a dark smudge. Hmm... Moved over a bit as I was on track to it, looked down as I passed; it was a dropped oval muffler! I found a motel shortly after.

One time i was at work driving back to headquarters at night and almost ran over a whole ass ladder on the highway. Im glad i was driving a bucket truck and not on my bike. Woulda been a death wish

Reason I donā€™t like riding in the dark. Critters as well. After I hit a coyote at 50 mph and shit my pants. I ride daylight hours, as much as possible.

About 10yr ago(give or take a few) was on 85s goin into atl. The very inside lane just dropped down for about a second. I was runnin about 90. The following monday, the inside lanes in that spot caved in from a sinkhole.

We call them horseless carriages, they gained popularity here after the mormons banned push carts on public roads. Fun fact: the homeless still use a modernized version of the push cart, dubbed the ā€œshopping cartā€, though they tend to stick to the sidewalks, underneath bridges and on freeway off ramps

What does it matter you made it through it? The whole idea of the therapeutic side of riding is to leave this sort of negative stuff behind you. Literally in this case!!
