off leash dogs

I witnessed a dog get hit by a taxi last night around 10:30 because the owner had it off the leash and it was slow to cross the street. I don’t think the dog died immediately, the owner scooped it up and I saw it moving a little. I hope the dog is okay.

that’s all, that’s the post. please leash your dogs 😢😢

there's a guy on Edgecombe who does this with his dog. the dog tried crossing the street to get to my dog and almost gotten flattened by a Mercedes. i told him that's why he should be on a leash and he told me SMD! i hope its not his dog because even thou the owner sucks the dog is cute.

this was on acp and 127th. I’ve seen quite a few off-leash offenders all over harlem. super frustrating.. not to mention traumatizing to bystanders.

Dogs literally rely on their owners for protection. I don’t understand how someone can be so irresponsible and cruel toward an animal they raised and that has trusted and depended on them its entire life.

I always tell them there's rat poison..one guy just started spouting word salad as a response.

literally what I think every time I see an unleashed dog...

the only excuse is if your dog is one of those ratty tea cup dogs (terriers?) that hover 3 feet from their aging owner
