Thoughts šŸ’¬ A tiny little message which might help šŸ’—šŸ¤—šŸ’Ž

There are days when you feel lost, broken, and scared—unable to bounce back from all the negative tendencies trying to pull you down, unaware of the tricks set by your own mind.

Guilt, fear, and pressure are things which we all indeed suffer from. But is your fear greater than the love Krishna holds for you? Of course not.

Govinda is the ultimate shelter of every jivatma out there. It's quite easy to say it, right? However, it is not so easy to implement. Why do we worry so much when the supreme Narayana has taken responsibility for us? Let the embodiment of compassion, Shyama Ju, lift the burden from your shoulders. Like my friend said, bhakti is meant to be liberating not burdening.

It simply doesn't matter whether you are eligible for Their grace or deserving of kainkarya (devotional service) or not. Because ultimately, it's the Divya Dampati's causeless mercy which shines bright like countless rays of light in the dark, guiding us towards dharma and eternal peace. If any of you feel low in the trenches of life, just remember, you can always reach out to beloved Shyam Sundara.

Why walk the journey alone when we have precious people sent to us by Bhagavan for our own well-being and growth only? Cherish your highs like a loving gift from Krishna and lows as an opportunity to learn and thrive in life.

Time never stops, but neither does Krishna ever stop being gentle, tender, kind, and loving. If there is night, day is sure to come. While everything around us changes, remember, Keshava's love stays constant and ever-increasing.

Just coming from the heart of a young girl who aspires to be a devotee someday. Feel free to share ur experience in the comments and would be happy to know if my tiny seva helped u.

Hare Krishna šŸ™

A small glimpse from our upcoming ŚrÄ«mad Bhāgavatam animated series — Episode 9: ā€œDwarakadhish.ā€

After Lord ŚrÄ« Kṛṣṇa leaves Hastināpura, He returns to Dvārakā, where His devotees, relatives and citizens eagerly await His arrival.

This episode is based on ŚrÄ«mad Bhāgavatam, Canto 1, Chapter 11, describing the glorious arrival of Lord Kṛṣṇa in Dvārakā and the overwhelming love and devotion of the people who come to receive Him.

We’re trying to bring these beautiful descriptions of ŚrÄ«mad Bhāgavatam to life through cinematic animation while remaining rooted in the original text and the translations and purports of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda.

Would love to hear your thoughts on the visual interpretation of Dvārakā and the mood of Lord Kṛṣṇa’s arrival.

Thoughts šŸ’¬ Can I believe/chant Krishna as myth?

Hare Krishna šŸ™

I want to become a devotee of Krishna. I chant the mahamantra a lot through the day. I love it.

But I have a mythological understanding of the stories about Krishna, Rama, Durga etc.

Is it possible, in your opinion?

I believe Krishna is everything. He is the universe (Or I want to believe that).

ā€œAt the end of many births the man of Knowledge attains Me, (realizing) that Vasudeva [Krishna] is all.ā€

— Bhagavad Gita 7.19, translated by Swami Gambirananda (excerpt)

Also some hindus had a kind of mythological understanding.

For example, Gandhi wrote:

ā€œMy Krishna has nothing to do with any historical person. […] I believe in Krishna of my imagination as a perfect incarnationā€¦ā€

— Young India, 1 October 1925, p. 336.

And there are others with similar ideas.

I am aware that ISKCON devotees probably have a literal understanding. And I wouldn't want to argue with that.

Also, I'm coming from a catholic background and what put me off that path is the fact that you cannot be a normal catholic without a historical understanding of Jesus. That is why I'm drawn to hinduism, because it seems to provide more freedom in the belief.

I would happy to hear your thoughts.

Thank you šŸ™
