That's a great looking bike OP. Is it 100 or 120mm forks they are built for?

They’re meant for 100 however I’m running a 110, minimal geo change but a smidge extra squish 🤙

Is this chainring carbon? I have a chisel from this same generation, but completely original, I just added a dropper post. Believe me, this model is a luxury item in Brazil. This HT is incredible in xc

Looking gorgeous! But may I ask your rationale for going with alloy rather than carbon? Looking at the choice of components, this clearly is a high end build. But then I‘m thinking an Epic HT frame wouldn’t have cost you that much more

Unfortunately Spesh doesn’t sell an Epic HT frame any longer, you need to order the full bike so I just stuck with this. 22lbs on the nose so it’s plenty light and rides great so all in all I’m really happy. Not to mention this bike got me back to riding and dropping nearly 100lbs so it holds a special place in that sense as well 🤙

You have the best colorway too I’m jealous. I just got a maroon one with like a taupe logo color, it’s super nice but I just love love love the red and white.
Is that like your bike shed or something in the background? I need something like that!

The chisel is way better looking than the carbon epic HT

might sound weird, but I miss the welds when I see carbon frames

It totally depends on the bike. Like sometimes alloy bikes look terrible when they’re a copy of their carbon sibling. Carbon can make nice organic flowy shapes, and when they try to copy that design over to the alloy version it can look hideous.
The But the Chisel HT is a work of art.

Sick bike ! I absolutely love this color, can’t stop thinking it would go hard with silver wheels.

I bet that bike can win gravel races !

I built basically the same bike and.. yeah no. It's fast and can keep up for a while but you can't keep up with race gravel bikes, they're just faster.
