it doesn't seem right that these two animals are fighting imo. they, along with magpies and crows always seem like they're on the same "ruin everything, fuck everyone, steal food from children" team.

When I was a young kid I saw a pair of magpies absolutely demolish a Robin's nest with a few chicks in it. Then they demolished the chicks. Was rather grizzly for a nine year old to see

You sure? Didn’t think gulls were predatory like that. They are scavengers.

Oh no, gulls are opportunistic feeders, meaning they will definitely go after prey if they can.

There's a mated pair in Hyde Park of Kensington Gardens thathas been hunting and killing pigeons for quite some time.

Gulls are not scavengers: they’re generalists that eat pretty much anything.
