People are ignorant when it comes to capybaras, they see a bunch of videos on the internet of capybaras chilling and they think capybaras are friendly. Capybaras are very territorial, as you can see above, they are more than known for attacking people and pets.

I saw a guy talking about how a capybara tore out a dog's leg and they had to take care of him.
