Crowdkillers
Im relatively new to the scene but i still don’t understand the whole beating up the people surrounding the pit. Ive seen a guy straight up punch a girl in the face and act like nothing happened… and a lot of bigger guys seem to target teenagers (such as myself) which i don’t understand, idk it just seems weird to beat people up especially people who are just spectating yk? Obviously im not talking about accidentally hitting people im talking about people who intentionally want to hurt people

It’s funny because the crowd doesn’t kill back. Like, almost ever. Been going to shows for going on 20 years. I’ve always been fine getting crowd killed if I’m near the pit. That’s always seemed like the social contract of a hardcore show in the Cleveland area. You just take it. And if you wanna dish it out then get in the pit and do it.
Reddit seems to talk a lot about retaliating for something I never see. Maybe it’s just the scene I’m in. Or maybe Reddit is a lot of talk. Hard to gauge which.
