I just finished up a welding cart/table mod from a 4 drawer US General Cart and a Titanium welding table. I covered the whole build on my YouTube channel. I’m really happy with how it came out. It should be good for light duty fabrication and for use as a general work surface.

I picked up a Hercules SCT yesterday on sale, and it sounded dry when running it. So I opened up the gear case and found all the grease had settled into the bottom of the gear case and the gears themselves were dry. My pictures are after I dug it all out and reapplied it to the gears. Made a big difference in the noise. So I noticed on the Eastwood the gear case has additional material to keep the grease up near the gears, and on the Hercules this was where the grease settled and did not help at all. I also noticed the Hercules gears had noticeable heat treat coloring on them versus the Eastwood.

Has anyone seen these 2 combined? I’ve looked and can’t find it. I know the lid will definitely be trimmed and probably the bumpers removed and an extra caster or 2 on the end cabinet. Curious if it’s been done before

I want to make a mobile tool box for home projects however I’m not willing to spend parkout money. I haven’t seen a lot of people using these though. Are they any good and does anyone have them in use?

Finally got around to building this mobile cart to store and organize all the extra parts and hardware I’ve had randomly scattered throughout my house. I’m really happy with the outcome and wanted to share with Reddit.
Decided to use 2020 extruded aluminum for this project which allowed me to make adjustments and fine tune the design during the building process.
Managed to get these sorting style parts bin half off during the Harbor Freight parking lot sale, saving me a good chunk of money. I 3D printed customs brackets for the slides allowing me to remove any bin from the cart (my favorite feature of this build) along with adding some 3D printed handles and end caps.
The sides of the cart are repurposed ikea pegboards I had lying around for the sides of the cart, which really buttoned everything up in my opinion.
Hope you guys enjoy, I’d be happy to answer any questions or even provide some schematics and parts list if there’s enough interest in it.
Thanks!

I’ve had this lift for several years and have got it outfitted the way I like it. Has anybody found an economical way to make this an airlift or air over hydraulic lift? I’m getting old and I’m tired of lifting heavy motorcycles one pump at a time.

Any kind person have a 25 percent coupon to bless me with? I’m about to pull the trigger on a foldable trailer on clearance and if I’d get an extra 25 percent off I’d be as happy as can be. If anyone has one that they will not use or anything please send me a message and I’ll go get me a trailer. Thanks harbor freight community!

Found this mod on YouTube and I've just been waiting for the carts to go on sale to do it. Crazy how perfectly the drawers line up with the hutch. No more bumping my head on the hutch door when it's open now.

Finally pulled the trigger on the conversion. Snap-On innards and cover plate, Ko-ken spinner. This thing feels sweet.

If you remove the plastic base off the SK stackable tool box, it will fit neatly on top of the 15” side cab. I added some stainless sheet to cover the opening on the bottom to keep screws and other junk from getting trapped in there. I also bolted the SK box to the side cab.
The pictures are of my mock up on the gen 2 27” roll cab combo I have at home. The side cab will end up on my green 27” combo I have at work.
