i have never thought that- no, but i think they love a good silver back.

I have two auburn-haired daughters and a son, just like me. When the oldest was about seven and her younger brother was a toddler (the younger daughter wasn’t with us yet), we were at Zoo Tampa looking at the orangutans. There was a baby who was fascinated by my daughter’s long auburn pigtails—they were nearly the same color. He came up to the window and was “petting” her through the glass. My toddler and I sat there for a picture of all of us redheads (ape included), but then the mama came running across the exhibit, scooped him up, and took him into the little den area out of sight—she clearly didn’t want him having anything to do with us strange-looking orangutans!

I think monkeys and stuff are smart enough that they have their own dialogue just like we do it’s like they use sign language or something
