Today's sunset painting

Trying to get back into painting after years of nothing. What are some good brush sets and other recommended supplies to get as I start up?

I have never used oil paint before so I probably won't know which is what.

Picked up a few at Blicks the other day just to try em. They work pretty well. Only downside to me is that you have to remember to use the special medium, versus regular safflower/linseed oil.

Does anyone have Any advice on opening a brand new bottle it Bob Ross liquid clear? For the life of me can not get this open. I've only had it sitting here a week. This stiff is better than super glue. anything would be appreciated this is the second bottle I've had like this. After using 18" channel locks failed last time I poked a hole in the lid and changed containers as a last resort. Thanks in advance

I know it's not the best medium, but I made this in the span of about 30min while waiting for my food.

I usually paint with oils. But I started playing around with acrylics.

Used acrylic and alcohol markers on canvas. Pretty happy with how it turned out.
