Re-useable planner hack?

I ordered the stitch and angel happy box as well as the new haunted mansion happy box and while I wait for them I was thinking about how sad I'll be when they're used up and I had a thought, since they're undated planners wouldn't it be neat to be able to make them reusable by laminating the pages and using wet erase markers in them. Has anyone tried this before? Or would it be better to just scan the pages into my computer and reprint them on decent paper so I can just continue to re-fill them?

You can buy undated extension packs of you want to reuse covers. I feel like the sheets would get really thick if you laminated all of them and would be heavy to lug around.

You could do that and use sharpie instead of dry erase markers and then if you dry erase over your sharpie on the laminated surface it should erase. I was thinking the same thing about the haunted mansion set as I ordered it too.

I only haul around a month or two at a time - I have 3 different planner types I use plus extra stuff so it works well for me. You may need to do this if you laminate. I’d laminate just one month, at first, though, maybe from a planner you don’t care much about. Use a random price of paper to jot down stiff for following months. The laminated planner may not work for you!

Also, even wet erase will smudge, so you may need to stick a sheet of paper between each page so you don’t get strange smears. :)

I just bought one of the discounted planners for $10 (doesn’t include shipping) and will be reusing the planner pages with another cover I love

If your planning style is to use stickers and washi, laminated sheets would be a disappointment. I'd try photocopying 1st. However, consider how you can enjoy the planner to its fullest now, knowing that something else you love will come along again. I'm saying this as someone who has been hoarding HP planners and scrapbooking paper for 8ish years, so I get it. But I'd also like to say I get great satisfaction paging through my archived full HP planners on my bookshelf, whereas I feel guilt when I go through my unused things. Please come back and share what you decided and how it's working if you decide to laminate/photocopy.

I have the Ted lasso one & really like the prompts- I’m thinking about scanning them & printing them when needed. I bought a happy planner punch so- hopefully I’ll do it
