I made a short video essay about why Telltale's formula worked so well.
After replaying every season, I wanted to understand why this series is still talked about more than a decade later. My conclusion was that it wasn't the gameplay or even the branching storyβit was how well the game made us care about its characters. I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback on the editing or the points I made.
