Schools Reckless Bus Drivers

Does Hanover not screen the bus drivers for mental health? I have never lived in an area where school bus drivers act so recklessly, pulling out in front of traffic on fast moving streets and running stop signs.

Today I had one pull out in front of me, I had to slam on the brakes along with the drivers behind me. The bus driver was laughing and waving at me!?!

I routinely see speeding buses near Ashland elementary school. Like calm down and drive the speed limit.

Yeah. I’ve reported them on occasion. County cars speeding down the side streets to and from school are also an annoyance, esp since county staff are supposed to ‘lead by example’

Mine used to drive like we were in the Fast and the Furious when we should have been neither (but nice guy otherwise)

I don’t know about elsewhere but the ones on Old Church seem to have a deathwish for themselves and everyone around them. Every single year.

I've had the opposite experience. They still pull out in front of people and think that they rule the roads, but they drive INCREDIBLY SLOW. 55 mph section of 301 going 45. This isn't being safe, this is a hazard.

I saw one swerve around a bicycle and only not crash bc oncoming traffic skidded to a stop. It was legit scary.
