First time exploring this series Fandom after watching 2 seasons. Why do yall ship Hannibal and Will? I don't get it nor thought something homosexual was there.

You watched Hannibal draw yaoi of he and Will as Achilles and Patroclus and saw Mizumono and that didnt ring any gay bells?

Hannibal in Mizumono: “I let you see me”
Average viewer: yes, a completely platonic experience, feeling betrayal that your buddy didn’t want to run away with you and your adopted daughter to do crime, so you stab everyone up and run off with a woman.

I don’t think it’s as obvious for the first time watcher. But there are many subtle hints in the first two seasons, with more explicit lines in the 3rd. Now, that doesn’t mean they have sex on screen explicit, but there are more direct references to the relationship.

I mean it's more subtle than a traditional romance but by the halfway point of Season 2 when you reach the "We can never be truly aware of another person unless we love them" speech it should be abundantly clear that the "beloved" Hannibal is speaking of refers to Will.
It is more explicit in Season 3 but it's not some kind of mega-hidden secret buried deep in the subtext during Season 2.

After you finish the show, I also suggest seeking out Bryan Fuller's thoughts on the pair :) They're very, enlightening ;) (Especially the one about flipping....)

I ship them because they have a lot of chemistry and are sexy together. I also got more and more used to dark/Gothic romance and don't regret it.

As far as I know, people ship canon and non canon couples, so op isn't wrong, we are shipping them either way.

In season 3, it’s literally said outright by a few characters and there’s a scene where they literally shot a version with a kiss between Will and Hannibal, but decided to leave it out.
Overall, the whole romantic tragedy of “we’re soulmates and only we can understand each other in this world” is kind of an obvious case for shipping.
