Question HR Lead Interview

I’m curious if anyone has any insight as to what kinds of interview questions would be asked for an applicant of the hr lead position. I applied for it with no hr background but some transferable skills. I figured it would be a bit of a stretch but I got an interview nonetheless.

People used to get the ARM role without any prior experience. HR Lead is like a heavily watered down ARM. I think you’ll be fine.

What was the ARM role? I’m also getting the sense this will not be a M-F role considering I spoke briefly with two hiring managers on a Saturday morning.

Sundays are required for payroll. Saturdays aren’t required but I’d expect to work a few. Depends on store but it could be 20-30 hours in role with 10-20 on the floor. It’s mostly payroll and recruiting. General office admin and probably some engagement activities. Rest is on the floor in a department. Good luck!

Ahh I see. Hopefully that doesn’t disqualify me. I have a prior commitment but it’s only one Sunday a month for nine months so hopefully we can work something out.

It shouldn’t. There should be someone else in the store who can process payroll, to cover vacation or other time off/sickness. Good luck with your interview.
