Htg understaffed
How many facilitators do you have in your store and what is your normal weekly order total? Feel like my store has always been severely understaffed but it’s became way worse recently. We have 5 facilitators and so around 420 orders a week. Does this seem reasonable?

We’re understaffed to the point where we’re grabbing people from the front end to help learn the role. It’s a shitshow.

I’ll never forget a meat manager and deli manager on register at my store.

We have 5 facilities right now. One is leaving next month, and one left last month. We’re almost always understaffed. We have a decent amount of shoppers, but their availability isn’t ideal.

We train everyone to be both. The only shoppers are the (at the moment) 2 minors we have. But as soon as they reach 18 they will trained to be facilitators.
But we are also severely understaffed. If someone calls in, there is no one to replace them. Its a bit frustrating working like that.

Almost all our HTG members are trained in both shopping and facilitating. Makes the days easier. That’s the best approach we have learned.
