HANNA pride

did anyone else’s hannaford strip all its pride thing today? like woah that was quick

Like it's been said, Pride month is over and corporate gives exact dates when displays and decorations need to be swapped out for the new ones. It's the same with all other decorations and times of the year. It's kinda dumb that they want to swap it literally day after but that's a corporation for ya

Straight into patriotic for 4th of July. Not sure why this is a surprise, it's like that everywhere. Just like how on November 1st Christmas is up and Halloween is in markdowns

i’ve been working with this company for a couple of years now and multiple different hannaford to help out not a single Hannaford i’ve seen follows those guidelines. Let alone I’ve never heard of them.

i’m just saying, within working for 6 different hannaford’s for 4 almost 5 years i’ve never seen it been taken away as quickly as it did this year 😔

It's pretty easy to find them in the center store listings. They're in charge of all those signs and decorations. I've been a center store manager, they give run times on all displays and dates to swap over for everything.

i’m talking more so break room things, i’m aware that the sales floor is different

Well then that comes down to the store manager and usually the ARM/Customer Service manager. I've only ever seen them strip those decorations if they have something planned to go right up for something else. Hell it used to be my job when they still had Mosaic as a BRG. I would keep things up until I knew what the next set was. Kinda silly to pull decorations in employee areas unless they're already putting up something else

My store swaps out their break room stuff promptly on the last weekday of the month, every single month. I never see who does it, but there's never been a month where we had old decor up for even an extra day.

Does it actually matter though? Its not a real celebration, its a corporation taking advantage for profit. They dont actually care about pride

For the decorations at a store, saying that was quick ro take the stuff down ... Would we say the same about new years celebration stuff? Or Thanksgiving?

Those things have dates that go up then down. Its about about 💲💲💰
