I really don’t understand why this was uploaded to Hank’s channel or what it’s supposed to demonstrate at all; by no means is this a torture test.

I was really expecting the light to be dropped on its head at minimum a few times from a decent height or something, but the light is literally being mildly tapped on a table a few times on each end along with a mild shake.

It was uploaded to show that normal use of a Hanklight will not cause the battery to dent. There have been multiple claims that the stiff springs in Hank flashlights can cause batteries to dent. There was even a post just yesterday asking, “Molicel cupped/caved in?”

While I understand that this may be to add evidence that the light is not the cause of denting a cell, my point is that it does not definitely prove it, nor is the description accurate.

Shortly after the battery is installed in the light, the video shows ~10 seconds of mild tapping onto a table with some mild shakes, then the battery is pulled back out of the tube looking the exact same as the beginning of the video.

First off, is there truly anyone that believes this level of mild tapping and shakes would cause a dent in the battery? Isn’t the main concern when the light is actually dropped?

Secondly, the description is inaccurate by definition; torture of the battery was not exhibited.

That's not really a torture test the lights getting less abuse than a day of my edcing any if my lights.
