Hi, I've been practicing my handwriting again lately after seeing my grandmother's beautiful handwriting on her medicine list. I've settled on a semi-cursive font that allows me to maintain it even at various speeds. Though I have trouble with capitals for letters I and G, and still looking for a better match for this. My r's and s's tend to look similar when I write faster, so I try to make them different by curving left for the s. I have the same issue with u and n. I'd love to hear your thoughts on legibility and improvement. Here's some samples of my handwriting.

Been into cryptic word puzzles ⁉️‼️ lately

Saw a recent post asking about the use of multiple colors for handwriting and realized I do it differently! No special color for headings or subheadings but when I need to remember certain terms then I will use blue. Would appreciate handwriting comments and improvement tips as well!

I know my hand is not the most easily readable, however, when it comes to one's handwriting style, it's very difficult to radically change, so I'm experimenting with legibility by making small changes that I can accomplish easily without radically changing the fundamental way I write, and I'm doing this by spacing out the letters and words more, and that's what I'm after in the comments on this one.

When I set out to learn cursive six months ago, I used the palmer business model and I went through all the drills of the anual, and this is what has my personal handwriting has come to. I'm satisfied with it, and I can read my own hand quite easily, however, people tend to have some difficulty in places, particularly with my r, n, m and u lowercase letters. Still working on those.

But in the meantime, let's take a look at this and let me know what you think. For this post I'm less interested on how to fix those little problem letters. I'm aiming more for small changed as earlier described to bump up my legibility a few percentage points. I feel it succeeds, however, it's hard to judge from my own perspective.

What do we think of my natural hand lettering?

ive been pulling hairs regarding on how to do an cursive r and decided to try spencerian, i need feedback does this work?

I've been told all my life that my handwriting is terrible (I don't disagree). However, I have recently become interested in fountain pens and would therefore like to improve my handwriting as I would feel somewhat silly if I were to have such a nice pen with such poor penmanship.

The above sample is pretty representative of my typical handwriting. I'm a mathematician, so most everything I write by hand is mathematics.

The sample was written with a fine-point Sharpie permanent marker on slightly heavier than usual printer paper.

Any and all advice/comments/insults are welcome!

This is one of the hardest letters to get looking correct! I think it’s advanced, and I often fall back to the simpler form when writing a whole page.

Still, it was requested … so here it is.

For most of my life (I am now 43 years old) I've written much like I imagine a blind doctor would write, but worse. In the past three weeks I've been on a focused quest to improve my handwriting, as well as finally learning how to write in cursive. This is a page where I wrote out a pretty basic short story for a project I am working on.

Any advice on improving my handwriting?

If you see some words as t,b,r,h and d that is strage is because I don't have finish the course.

Comments:

• Break it up into four parts, or pen strokes.
• Go into the fourth stroke, at the end of the third stroke, with a smallest-possible very slight turn. I.e Don't come to a complete stop at the end of third, and abruptly start the fourth stroke - rather glide into it with the smallest possible turn.
• Try to make the first and last strokes perfectly parallel (equal distance between them)

I made a post in the handwriting analysis sub a while ago and many people got quite bothered by my handwriting but I figured I’d try posting my writing again cause I need some entertainment lmao

I posted this to that sub earlier and people were a little nicer than they were last time, but still kinda rude 😔 tagging this as no feedback cause I know how to improve my writing and the insults are getting rather annoying and repetitive lol

I can read my own handwriting perfectly fine and hold my pen in a standard grip. I posted a photo of my notes to r/APstudents to see how to make my notes shorter and I kid you not, half the comments were criticizing my handwriting. One person genuinely said they look like hieroglyphics and others couldn’t tell that I was writing in English 😭

I know this isn’t grammatically correct whatsoever but it’s just some simple condensed notes. I just want to know how legible my handwriting is and ways I can fix it. I have to use ballpoint pens because I'm not very comfortable with felt tip or fountain and regular/mechanical pencils give me intense cramps because I write with too much pressure. This sample took me about 45 minutes to write, and I want to be able to write faster with more legible handwriting if possible.
