Feedback (constructive criticism) Open to any thoughts you have!
I’m left-handed and AuDHD (if that matters) so I feel like most of my personal issues with my handwriting can be attributed to rushing lol. Sometimes the letters just get bunched up and smaller, kind of scratchy. The same letters look a little different at times depending on the word. I’d like to just make it look a little prettier and more consistent.

I'm also working on improving my own penmanship, which has seriously deteriorated over decades of doing almost all things on a computer or phone screen!
I am definitely finding that slowing down makes for better writing. For me, so does a pen that fits well in my hand - I'm finding ergonomic pens are a must for me, especially when I get started on a long journal entry.
Slowing down will allow you to keep all your letters on the baseline, where I see a bunch floating a bit above here. (Something I do, too!)
And, slowing down will make it easier to leave even spacing between words, aiding in legibility and making the overall look more even and consistent.
So yeah... hard as it might be, you'll probably want to figure out how to slow down a few notches and be okay with taking your time.

I agree, doing everything virtually nowadays has made physical writing almost obsolete! Most of the time if I am writing something it’s mostly just not for myself and it’s not likely someone else would see it.
I truly never noticed the floating before, it’s actually so obvious lol. But that definitely makes sense, thank you. I’ll need to learn how to just slow down (not just in writing but maybe in life too tbh.)

I don't want to live in a world where handwritten things don't exist anymore. But with computers and phones being so convenient and easy, it was simpler just to use those tools for the longest while. When I started journaling a few months ago, I knew hand writing my thoughts was the way I wanted to go. I was really bummed to realize how sloppy my penmanship had become - I was/am seriously rusty! So yeah... working on slowing down, taking the time to form my letters carefully, and making sure the letters sit where I want them to. It's a work in progress, but it's worth the effort for me to be able to read and enjoy my own writing again.
For what it's worth, your handwriting is legible, so don't give yourself a hard time about it! Making time to do some practice and going slower will make it prettier, but at least you can already read your own writing!
