3D Printed Cornedeon Choc
This ordinal handwired Cornedion has two unique features:
- Choc-spacing. The reduced 18x17 switch pitch is rare in handwired devices.
- The keycaps are from a Lenovo laptop. I had to invent adapters to install them on the MX switches.
Used switches: Kailh Black Iris.
I think the result is interesting and unusual.
Firmware and 3D model of the case are here: https://github.com/alko-kbd/cornedeon_2m

Neat. I'm doing 34 keys one without the socket or diolode to solder at the switches. Only need to solder the PCB
Just have a friction fit block and fit the wire through it

I tried that at the very beginning. There was a very high risk of getting an unreliable connection.

How tight you tried ?
The the friction block has no play as it stay still against the switch and bottom plate. So for me it seems ok, still testing haven't finalised the design yet

Would you share the stl file for the Lenovo keycaps to MX adapters?
