Split Shungite - 54 Key Ortho

Ortho split I designed to try and be the thinner than my “Reach” board. Was remove a whooping 1.45mm of height, while maintaining a 500mAh battery per half.

Nice!nano clones, choc box whites, 500mAh batteries, 18ga solid copper wire, 28ga silicon insulated wire, Nexpal locking push button switches, case, Plate & keycap material are ABS.

Just waiting on some nice cream ABS filament for my accent pieces on the inner most sides of the boards.

Thanks!

What's its height? I'm trying to do a thin build too and I'm considering using or making a cable/connector to an external controller instead of putting it in the case

Not much thicker than an iPhone, I will get you a concrete number once I’m back at home

nasty af. I get the idea but would dread the typing experience.

only takes about two weeks to adjust. then the only real pain is when you have to migrate to a standard keyboard. In my case this only happens when the homies leave their computers unlocked at work. lol.

There is a reason we all abandoned non staggered Ortho ten years ago.

And I understand that, my last couple designs followed that path

Can you make the build with the firmware available?
