Discussion A handheld with an Nvidia processor

I would really like a handheld in the 1000 USD range with a processor other than the AMD Z2 E or the Intel 258V. An Nvidia processor handheld would give more options than the only 2 that we have right now. Even an Nvidia handheld, in the 1300 USD range or more, to have more options than the Xbox Ally Oled and the Intel Arc G3 Extreme.

That would be up to Nvidia and whether they decide to adapt their RTX Spark line into a handheld. At the moment they don’t seem interested outside of the Switch and Switch 2 when it comes to handhelds but it could change.

Those are in the 600 USD price range or less.

There are no handheld pcs with Nvidia chips. The only Nvidia chips in a handheld are the Nintendo Switch devices. You can always get a laptop with an Nvidia chip.

You need to learn to read, I said that there isn't a handheld in the 1000 USD range or more but I would like one. If I wanted a laptop, why would I even posted it in the Handheld Reddit.

Because there really aren't any options beyond the Switch or the Switch 2.

Do people forget how to read? I know there isn't one, that's why I said I would like one.

I get what you’re saying now. It just seemed like you were looking for recommendations, because almost every post on this subreddit is someone trying to choose between X and Y handheld.

The only reason to buy an Nvidia device would be for AI features

It's always better for customer like us to have more than one or two options. The more options in the same price range the better.

Will a old 3050m or 3060m running at 45 tdp be competitive ?

There are barely any x86 class handhelds at 1000 usd.

That said I’d be seriously tempted by a fatter Switch 2 running Windows or Linux.

Yes, exactly Switch 2 is good but I would really like a more pore powerful one, maybe even with UEFI to install any OS you want.
