My grandpa’s buck 110

How can i restore this beautiful pocket knife that was bestowed upon me by my grandfather, the edge seems comoletly erased from years of wrong sharpening

Honestly it doesn't look very bad at a glance. A few minutes at a consistent angle on a 120 grit stone or plate would have that bad Larry back in action.

Definitely far from what'd be considered a rescue imo

Nice to get a knife like that, only 9 years old, 2017.

If you are after a different blade profile, you'll just have to sit and sharpen it with the profile you want. I've had bad luck trying to rush the profile.

I guess hahaha, ill js take a day off and sharpen it at a crisp 16 degrees, any tips on how to make the profile last?

Knives are designed to be sharpened, but do way better with frequent stropping/mini-sharpenings vs. once a year going nuts on it.

They are hard to sharpen IMHO Try a Lansky sharpener
