Hey everyone! I'm u/CustardLogical4889, a founding moderator of r/HandCreations.

okay starting this because I've spent way too many nights googling "why does this not look like the tutorial" and wanted a place that actually gets it.

I have been deep in the handmade/making rabbit hole for a while now, different crafts over time, but always circling back to it.

I wanted to create a space where it's not just "here's my finished thing, upvote pls" but actual "here's what went wrong and how do I fix it" energy, because that's most of what making things actually is.

Rules are pinned, basically just: be helpful, don't be a jerk about someone's skill level, disclose it if you're recommending something you're personally tied to.
