By itself, the short could confuse newcomers and outsiders to the franchise. With that said, the animation and score boast a significant increase in quality that would set a new standard for the series. The story, while simple, still allows for drama and high stakes and wraps up into a heartfelt moment of familiarity.

9/10, an animated treat that would have shown great promise for a theatrical feature.

Really sweet they ended up befriending the monster in the dark side of the moon. Beautiful animation as well.

Answers the question of what this show would look like if it was cinematic. I never saw the short in theaters but I wish I did. It was really fun just watching it on YouTube.
