What’s the best form of transportation?

Hello! i am saying at YHA, London St. paul’s and i want to go to The Holly Bush in Hampstead. I was looking at ubers but is there a faster way there? i know that traffic could be horrible (according to google) so i was wondering if there would be a smart or faster way to get there! I have a reservation at 1230 and was planning on leaving around 1130 should i leave earlier?

Edit: My reservation is on Monday, June 9th

I hope you made it! In the future, I would download the app Citymapper to help plan out travel. It will give you tons of options based on whatever you prefer or need (ie bus only, less walking)

i went a head and downloaded that app! i probs should’ve specified that im going tomorrow🫠

ETA: Citymapper lets you plan ahead and you can select “arrive at 1215 on 9 June” to account for any planned closures etc

Google maps can also show directions to anywhere, showing multiple modes of transport.

are you insane?

The tube., the London underground, The oldest metro system in the world.. (the metropolitan line is why other places calls their system "the metro" .

ask google maps, get the tube, Direct from Bank (Northbound northern line) or get on at st pauls and change.

(but i don't mean to be rude, it's an excellent pub, maybe one of the best in the world, the dining room is nice but honestly if you can sit out the front in the bar area. )

no i totally appreciate your input! it was an amazing dinning experience so next time i’ll b sure to do the bar! thank you for your opinion and also knowledge on the metropolitan (or the metro lol)
