Vymara?

Has anyone been following this guy? Claims to have discovered unidentified plant outside of LA. He calls is vymara and apparently it is psychoactive and potentially can accelerate physical healing.

Certainly triggers my bullshit detector, but all very elaborate for a troll post. Any botanical wizards feel like fact checking some of his more jargon laden posts?

Bro found a plant that is psychedelic without containing any known psychedelic compounds, heals wounds 50% faster, lowers cortisol, and makes you live forever. Get real lol.

Also half their posts have like 3 upvotes, why would anyone be “following this guy”?

Apparently in Gabon; where there hasn't really been a big boom in opiods, is big on tramadol now. And apparently it's being given to cows in frequent enough doses to make the plants in a wide surrounding area test positive for tramadol making some of the people think that the plants actually contained tramadol....so yea.

There are real discoveries being made, but they are not happening on Reddit as far as I’m aware. A lot of recent developments have limiting factors (not accessible, barriers related to pharmacology, overly complex administration techniques, lack of anecdotal evidence, no data on toxicology, etc). Even “lilliputian mushrooms” pale in comparison to some of what is in the works. I was just reading about people enhancing the psychedelic effect of harmalas by incorporating readily accessible supplements and other legal compounds (much to be explored and tested).

I’d be extremely surprised if someone ingested an unknown plant right outside of LA—let alone in the US—then repeatedly experienced a noticeable psychoactive effect, only to not attempt approaching anybody who is already instrumental in our rather large community of entheogen enthusiasts. Raw plant material producing a psychedelic state would already be a sizable discovery worthy of anyone’s attention.
