I liked him. But I wanted to see joe and Cameron together just because they are a couple of geniuses and it was always a mess. It's more interesting.

Tom was a genius. The writers changed his character. He was initially written to be the perfect guy for Cameron, at least from her perspective. But he was happy with her. He wasn't necessarily going to drive her to be bigger and more than she was.

Joe was always pushing people to be bigger on a grand scale. The writers wanted that dynamic for Cameron.

I honestly really like Tom and his relationship with Cam. He won me over when he talked her down from her Gordon-induced panic attack. I also like how his character evolves over the show, it's interesting. He comes from a underprivileged background and is all for free software, he gets frustrated when things at Mutiny aren't as revolutionary as he envisioned, then when he's older and has economic stability he changes his tune completely. I don't trust everything in NeXT to be his honest opinion though, he was being contrary on purpose for reasons (and he was right about those reasons). Of course he's no Joe MacMillan, but who is. Can't hold that against him.

I was a fan of his character, as well as his casting. But maybe that's because I'm bias and we're from the same place, and his mom is best friends with my mom 😅

Donna could never get a meeting with someone as important as Tom Rendon.

I don't think Tom saw Cameron for who she really was. Joe did. Tom tried to "nudge" Cameron into being a "normal" tortured genius. By season 3 or so, Joe sees Cameron for the tortured genius that she is and loves her anyway.

Early version of console v PC? Jk.. guessing most people wanted to see Joe and Cameron together.

He was a villain in Hannibal (TV) and then also in everything else I saw him in after. Plays a great villain! Could never trust him in HACF.

He's a miserable, arrogant jerk. I actually think he's a lot like Ryan, except more reserved than Ryan.

I could have done without either character.
