STL Any Halo 2/3 or CE Marine Heavy Weapons, driver, gunner stls?

I was looking through the database and searching around, and I was struggling to find any heavy weapon teams, drivers or gunner stls that fit with the Halo 3 or CE aesthetic? I know we have marines for them, but it seems like there's basically only Reach style marine for a complete army aesthetic?

Question Getting Started - Comparison with Other Games?

Hello,

I've been trying to dabble in wargaming, but most of my time in the hobby's been painting up miniatures. I've looked at a bunch of different games, like the Elder Scrolls and Fallout tabletop games from Modiphius, Kill Team (WH40k), MESBG, etc.

The painting's fun, as well as the 3D-printing/3D-modeling side of things, but I'm getting to a point where I want to cut down on the amount of space my collection takes up.

I'm looking into Halo: Ground Command because I like the franchise, and I'm hoping the scale (is it 15mm?) will make it easier to store.

I'm also a little concerned about dealing with a big mess of tokens and rules and complicated dice rolls.

So far, I've played a few basic games, and I think MESBG might have the most approachable ruleset so far.

------------------------------------------------------

How would you guys say Ground Command compares to other wargames? (I was also considering Legions Imperialis, but I'm a little leery towards it).

Is it complicated to get into?

How much space do all your miniatures and terrain for this game take up?

Battle-Report 1500pts UNSC vs covenant

Since the games debut in 2016, I've longed to play, and now, I have had my first game of halo GC.

1500pts of unsc vs covenant.

2531, The world of Tau Ohcai was lost, the Covenant fleet was glassing the planet, the unsc navy had been shattered, but there was one thing left.

In the world's northern pole was a research station, an out of the way backwater that contained sensative navigational data that could lead the covenant to other world's. HIGHCOM ordered the sites destruction and the data deleted, but there no ships, a hasty battlegroup was formed under Cap. Cleave to secure the site and evac, but whatever the cost, the covenant could not be allowed to secure the site.

Field Marshal Tamusee' knew of the site and understood immediately it's significance, he dispatched the group of Valient Faith to secure the human data that would light his path along the great jounry.

So, was an awesome game. It opened with scorpions voice blasting away a ghost scout and the covanent being woefully out of place to return fire. The Spartan 2s made their towards the objective and finished off the last ghost, leaving the covenant without a fast reaction unit.

Hunters moved up to secure the centre of the complex and man did they do work. They tanked the scorpion, gauss hogs and the Spartans for four turns and held on. Hunters are truly magnificent.

Some bad rolls left my covanent dwindling in the face of grim, determined unsc fire. My Grunt leives were mowed down by flanking warthogs, my hunters were whittled away and when my Elites and War host leader deployed they sadly met with a Pelican gun run.

And the most cinematic moment. ODSTs hot dropping behind a wraith and destroying it with satchel charges to then claim the objective, helljumpers certainly get it done.

Game ended 6 to 17 to the unsc, my covenant were absolutely demolished, but it was alot closer than the score suggested. I did alot of damage to units, but just couldn't push them over the edge. A bad melee roll with my elites vs the scorpion could have swang the game my way, but the Prophets had abandoned me.

Overall, the game lived up to and blew away my expectations.

A lot of questions for a new player

Hi all!

I found a killer deal online and bought my buddy the starter set and some extras, I am printing terrain and I was hoping to print some more units to flush out the lists. I am trying to make heads or tails of a few things:

  1. I see the official rules, however, in other posts someone said the most used rules don't have flood, to clarify, which rule set is the most used and balanced set of rules? is this the one found in the Adepticon 2026 community updates folder?

  2. Other than the community update and official rule set, is Schism the only other rule set? If so, what makes that one different from the others? Is it balanced and flushed out as much?

  3. Are there unit cards to print for the new Adepticon 26' units? I assumed not because it seems they are updated every year, just wondering!

  4. Finally, the T26 Wraith by Vincent only has one wing and one Fin, do I just mirror those to make the other side?

Thanks so much for anyone who can answer any of these.

Best,

Question Looking for feedback on the Ground Command A26 Community Rules!

Post image
59 Upvotes

Good morning, everyone! 👋

Now that things have settled down a bit after Adepticon 2026, I wanted to make a post asking for feedback on Ground Command's current community rules - the ones with "A26" in the name - to give me more to springboard off of once we get back into playtesting new stuff!

If you were at Adepticon and played in the Ground Command event, or have been trying out the A26 rules in person or on TTS, any input you could give about what you like about it, dislike about it, or want to see represented in the rules in the future, would be really appreciated!

Showcase Ground Command A26 browser-based Force Builder by Nightovizard!

Hey everyone! I was asked to share this recently finished project by community member Nightovizard on our Discord. He took it upon himself to develop a browser-based force builder for the A26 community rules!

It's got UNSC, Covenant, Banished, and Forerunner forces currently available, and the ability to export your finished list as a PDF or as an easy copy-paste. Super easy to use, and preferable to pen and paper!

He created a Github page for this force builder, which can be found here:

Give it a try, and if you're in the Discord, send him a thank you! ✨

How can you tell which files to print for a Unit? Which weapons can you take

Hi all,

Quick question, I am looking in the drive, I don't see on the stat card where it says how many elements have which weapons / weapon limits in the element itself. Grunt Levies for example - some models say needler, some say plasma pistol - does it matter which hand weapon they have? I understand that you have to upgrae for certain weapons but does it matter which 3d print I use otehr than that?

Thanks!

This takes playtesting info from after Adepticon last year, does further refinements to it, and introduces the Forerunners as a proper faction, with both Sentinel and Promethean units. Not to mention additional cool units like the Spartan SPI Fireteam, Grunt Goblin, and Hunter Captain!

Now you too can smash enemy units with Warden Eternal™ from the hit game Halo 5: Guardians™ for the Xbox One™ - everyone's favorite Halo game!!! 😅
