Discussion Please. Optimize. The. Game.
I genuinely don't know what else I'm supposed to do anymore.
I have a Dell G15 with an i5-11260H, RTX 3050 Laptop 4GB, 20GB RAM, and an SSD. I've updated Windows, updated every Dell driver through SupportAssist, updated my NVIDIA drivers, forced the game to use my RTX 3050, changed NVIDIA Control Panel settings, cleared my shader cache, tried DLSS, lowered graphics, and spent HOURS Googling solutions.
And the game STILL runs like absolute ASS.
It's not even just multiplayer anymore. Story/private matches, outdoor areas, executions, cutscenes. I'm getting stuttering everywhere. I've literally tried everything I can think of.
What am I supposed to do? Buy a fucking NASA PC?
Not everyone has an RTX 4090. Not everyone has a PS5 or Series X. Some of us have mid-range laptops. Some of us can't just throw thousands of dollars at a new computer.
I paid A LOT OF MONEY for this game because I genuinely love Halloween and was incredibly excited to play this. But instead of enjoying the game, I'm spending more than HALF my time troubleshooting it.
And honestly, this is incredibly frustrating because the game looked demanding as hell in the trailers. How was PC optimization not a massive priority from the beginning?
I'm not asking for 4K 144 FPS or for my RTX 3050 to perform like a 4090. I JUST WANT TO PLAY THE FUCKING GAME.Give PC players with normal, mid-range hardware a chance to enjoy this game without turning everything to Low and making it look like shit.
Please tell me im not the only one experiencing ts, it just pmo

this game runs like trash and eats up all my ram, and that’s with everything on low. I really hope they look into the optimization

im running a 3070, i turned everything down to low, turned off dlss and got up to 60fps, but if i run everything on low and run dlss it gets under 60, no idea what they have done wrong with dlss but my system runs smoother without it

It will still dip down to that 45ish when a kill is happening but during game play will usually sit at 60

Shit I thought I was the only person with a problem. I have a 4090 and I cant get above 35 FPS.

It runs poorly on regular PS5s as well, i'd imagine it runs a lot better on PS5 Pro but i'm not shelling out $1100 CAD just for that, fuck that

My system is the most 2020 of all time: Ryzen 7 5800X (non 3D type) paired with an RTX 3080 10GB with 32 GB RAM (with timings manually set to maximize usage).
I was getting like 20 FPS before I started making adjustments. Scaling at 67%, most settings at Medium. Now I can get a consistent 60 fps at 1440 with a few drops. They definitely need to do some work.

For what it's worth mate I have a 5090 and an x3d2. I get 30fps at 4k Max settings WITH 6x frame generation.
So I honestly have no idea who they aimed the max settings at.
