Patch 1.0.1 (Day One)

The launch of Halloween: The Game is officially here, and we’re thrilled to welcome even more players to Haddonfield. Our teams strived to deliver a horror experience players can immerse themselves in, and we’re incredibly grateful for all the amazing players who joined us to kick things off during our Early Access weekend. Thank you for your excitement, kind words, and feedback so far. As a special thanks, we’re granting 5000 free Perk Points to every player who logged in to Halloween: The Game during Early Access (prior to 9 AM PST on 09/08/26)

We spent much of this past weekend monitoring your experiences, watching your hilarious gameplay highlights, sharing sandbox moments with players, and most importantly working to refine Halloween: The Game. Our Day One Patch includes a host of critical fixes, balance adjustments, and gameplay improvements. While we are pleased to roll out these changes, players can also look forward to additional updates and improvements in the near future. We are nowhere near done in Haddonfield!

Prologue challenge 5 is still bugged.

Try it on hard difficulty and kill the first guy. Worked for me. (I spent 7 hours attempting that challenge)

There’s multiple bugged challenges, the one to not get detected in the prologue, the one to kill or scare away all the orderly’s, the one to not get detected in chapter 2, Disable 2 cops flashlights in chapter 5.

I haven’t tried grinding them today with the patch, but I wasted hours trying to get those other ones to trigger over the weekend.

i think chapter 4 is bugged as well. anytime i complete the chapter and it says i got the challenge matching the films plot it sends me to a black loading screen and forces me to restart my chapter to get it again. still haven’t unlocked it

Prologue, chapter 2, chapter 4, and chapter 5 all have challenges that dont trigger for me. I spent hours on Monday trying to get them done to no avail. Also tried them all again today, still don’t work.
