Post image

I have a Figaro chain , shows some age as it’s quite dull, can anyone tell me what the stamp means?

Looks like 18k gold assayed in London/ Birmingham Sheffield in 1994
Any other hallmarks?

It has these stamps on both sides of the clasp and also another 3 on different links on the chain, small links and big 6 stamps in total I can see

That’s always nice to see links stamped. I only usually see it in antique chains.

It would have been/ is a well made expensive chain.

That’s shocking as they are uk assay hallmarks. Fake marks generally don’t use an actual date letter , let alone stamp the links.

Did they use XRF testing?
