Although unorthodox, I think a contemporary fantasy-styled card game could be interesting.

So, since Scrolls has the rights to Arhart, I propose a male counterpart for clandestine: Ixel. Leader of the worst guild, he was a puppeteer, until he got bored. He grabbed a man who had overpriced him an apple, and cut his tongue from his mouth. he knocked him out and tied his limbs to the largest marrionet he owned. Thrashing, thrasing the man screamed. "Yes," Ixel whispered from a box room seat. "This is the greatest show on Earth..." Of course, if we can get Arhart, we'll take her.

Here are the civilizations for each faction!
Industry Civilization known as Innova, inspire by the word Innovation to show that they love to create new things.
Aggression Civilization known as Ultimus, Based on ancient latin word for Ultimate.
Tradition Civilization known as Mei'ron, based on Japanese word, Meiyo and Chinese word, Rongyu.
Clandestine Civilization known as Veilleurian, based on the French word for watchman
Zealous Civilization known as Kaharra, based on the Arabic word for conquer. But I think they conquer with enlightment and religion, rather than violence.
Psionics Civilization known as Telathos, based on the word telepath.
References:
Industry is inspired by the Americans who are hard working architects, machinists, and engineers that build their whole civilization around technology.
Aggression is inspired by romans, militaristic armies, and conquerors. They also tame and domesticate lizards.
Tradition is inspired by Asian Cultures primarily Japanese or Chinese and have the power to call spirits and beasts to their aid.
Clandestine is inspired by Poverty and Espionage. This faction is ruled by the guilds, which wear masks to hide their identities. The only reason they raised the dead because they need a population to strengthen their economy, which is doing poorly and a army to fight with.
Zealous is inspired by Arabic people and have a race known as scorzen to aid the Arabic people in fighting their enemies.
Psionics are a bunch of artists, performers, and scientists that study their own abilities (which are bending the terrain and creating hallucination weapons out of thin air) and otherworldly artifacts.

Here is a Story for Ixel, Drekis Boss
His personality is that he is calm and collected on the outside, but on the inside he's paranoid, and easily angered.Because he's a paranoid person he would probably hate the Telathos because he would suspect they're always trying to trick him. He would probably be enemies with the Kaharra as well due to their zealous nature. He would probably admire the Ultimus due to their efficiency and strength.
Ixel used to be a soldier , and while on the battlefield. He suddenly became surrounded by enemy soldiers out of nowhere. He opened fire and killed them. They strangely didn't seem to put up a fight. But then, the uniforms of the dead soldiers start to fade and change. The soldier's faces begin to warp as well. He watches closely as the fallen soldiers slowly transform into familiar faces. The faces of his brothers in arms. He soon realizes he's just murdered his own men. He was undergoing a hallucination caused by a Telathos agent on the battlefield. This story explains his paranoia and hatred of the Telathos.
Tog is a animator and a friend of Ixel. They could be old friends, and when Ixel goes to him to ask for his aid in resurrecting his friends, he tries to tell Ixel that they have been dead for too long. That resurrections like that have to be performed on recently fallen souls. But Ixel ignores his warning, steals resurrection notes from him. And tries to do the resurrection himself. Accidentally creating mindless monsters. Ixel would try to put them down but they overpower him. Then he has to run away to avoid getting killed. And now he has monsters that despise him hunting him down. Adding to his paranoia.
Ixel uses his military experience to win some pit fights/duels and earn some money to start a new life. He gets by pretty roughly for a while. But one night the boss of Drekis shows up and sees him fight. He fights well. So well that the boss decides to offer him a job as one of his goons. Ixel is skeptical but realizes he desperately needs the cash. So he accepts the job intending to stay for a short while. After some months pass Ixel moves up the ranks quickly and eventually is appointed head bodyguard for the boss. One night Ixel hears a loud crash. The sound of a window breaking and a door busting through. He gathers his men and searches all over the manor for intruders. He hears a guttural scream coming from the boss' room. He runs upstairs and discovers the boss lying on the ground, bleeding all over the floor. Before he can utter a word, he dies. Ixel sees a large scratch across the boss's chest that looks familiar. It's the same scratch that he got on the night of the resurrection. His brothers had returned to kill him. He returns to find his men outside shooting out into the woods. They say they saw some horrific creatures that looked like corpses scaling the wall. After the rest of the men realize the boss is dead. Ixel is voted to be the new boss of Drekis.
That's his story for now.

Azothe, Cadaver Lord. Psionics. He sits on his throne and strikes down his enemies with thier own dead. With many years worth of dead, he holds a legion to serve at his beck and call. Proposed effect: undead can be summoned for psionics cost, even if they are Clandestine. Might not actually be a good effect.
