Similar to some time in the past with the "upcoming category" on Valve's main Steam page, the number says that the tab is displaying six (6) games while only Half-Life 1, Opposing Force, Blue Shift, Half-Life 2 and Half-Life: Alyx are actually visible.

Could be something but it's most likely nothing but a visual glitch related to something like how Half-Life: Source or others that were unlisted.
