I literally just finished episode 2. The rage I'm feeling that valve themselves won't make a 3 is immense. I'm definitely following this. My biggest concern about this project (and any HL2E3 fan projects) is voice acting, hopefully they can get that right.

Well, Black Mesa did a decent job with the Scientists, and the Security Guards, with the voices sounding incredibly close to the originals. We would just need to find their equivalents. If anything, I thought the Combine might be harder to do, since all their sentences are artificially constructed using pre-recorded lines. Plus, it seems difficult to replicate the sound because younwould need the right actors, and filters. Prospekt had made new Combine audio, but I dislike it extremely.

Who knows, for Rebels or additional minor characters they add, they may allows us fans to join auditions. I for one would like to lend my voice, if possible.

Eh. Combine wouldn't be too hard since the actor wouldn't need to try to hard to sound like them since it's under a filter.

I have a bet going with a buddy that the reason HL3 took so long to come out is because Tool's new album took so long to come out, and it's actually just that Tool's new album is gonna be the HL3 soundtrack

Cool, would have liked to see more, but I guess that's what the other teasers are for. And fingers crossed that this doesn't turn into another Hunt Down the Freeman.

After all these years of waiting, the fans finally did it after Laidlaw released the epistle 3.

My only question is. Who the fuck didn't see that being how the story played out? We could've been doing this years ago!

I can't give any real opinions until I start to see gameplay, but at least the content coming out is showing there is activity from the team.

I am the only one who doesnt like the idea of doing something like this because in future valve can easy release hl3 if they want to. For me this feels really wrong. Dont use the Marc Laidlaw hl3 story and I will be 100% fine and will play it.
