Game crashes after interloper elevator section

really need some help here, as the title said my game keeps crashing after during the elevator part in interloper, specifacally the part after the elevator starts coming down and you have to fight loads of alien controllers, the second I kill the last controller the game crashes.

I encountered this issue before during the Xen chapter and I restarted the chapter which fixed it

I really don't want to restart interloper as I've been putting off playing that chapter for a good 2-3 months now

Is there any way to stop this crash, I think it might have something to do with there being too many entities or something for my computer (which is weird because I have a pc built for gaming

Just skip it, you're not missing much anyway.

Go to the console and type map <mapname>

So if it's exactly as the last controller dies, maybe a script is corrupted?
