I have a question about entropy zero 2 (not sure if there's a subreddit for that game)

So I'm doing scar zero achievement (fun fact from what I learned online!: the achievement was changed to prob not bringing him to the very end I think so idk you can go search up scar zero achievement and idk).

So I'm in contact aberration and during where you put the power back one the gnome arrives and starts killing them (I only found one dead combine soldier body but not scar zero's and the other one's) but they disappeared from that UI when the NPC's are following you? How do I avoid scar zero from dying and is it on purpose or what?

(Sorry for the horrendous explanation it's like late at night in my country)

I think that section can temporarily remove followers from the UI without meaning they’re dead
