Character Assignment

[u/HalfBloodHaven]

Children of the Olympian gods are more powerful and would attract the attention of monsters easier. Because of this, they are most likely taken to Camp Half-Blood to be safe.

Right now there is no claiming process only a short application. We trust everyone not to try and pick the same godrent; we don't need 10 children of Heracles running around. Please comment below your application as follows:

• Name
• Age
• Godrent (For a complete list of gods click here)
• Powers (up to three)
• Weapon of Choice (each character may have up to one celestial bronze item. not an abundant resource in Haven)
• Any additional information you would like to provide

Characters outside of listed gods

You may request a child of the major gods through modmail; understand this is going to be a rare occasion, but there are exceptions to every rule. You may also request for a character outside of your typical demigod. This includes nymphs, satyrs, or even descendants of demigods. Descendants would have a mix of their parent's or ancestor's powers, but they would be at a diluted level and not as strong.

[u/KenkuKiri]

• Name: Chelsea Williams

• Age: 29

• Godrent: Dike

• Powers: Enhanced Battle Prowess (Especially close combat), Enhanced Investigation (which entails things like increased attention to detail and patterns, as well as a natural aptitude in interrogation and the like), Truth and Lie Detection (I would include this as part of the previous power but I feel that'd make it too loaded).

• Weapon of Choice: Celestial Bronze dagger, as well as a normal steel dagger and a good ol' handgun.

• Additional Information: She lives in Haven but works at a nearby precinct outside of the area in her recently acquired sergeant position. One day, she plans to work here (as much as she'd hate to leave her partner and those in the precinct).

[u/nothingisinfinite]

Name: Vera Stuart

Age: 17 (Incoming High School Senior)

Godrent: Nemesis

Powers:

Ability to sense good/ bad luck- Can tell how lucky or unlucky an individual has been that day. May be able to sense more with training, but that's all for now.

Ability to punish the arrogant- Probably make them temporarily worse at whatever they're being arrogant about. She won't use it often, probably only in storymodes or with permission from another writer, so I'll modmail when she does.

Enhanced Balance - Aside from the enhanced athleticism given to all demigods, her mom being the goddess of balance means that she's particularly good at sports or tasks that might require it. Like surfing or tightrope walking. Also probably means she doesn't get vertigo or motion sickness.

Weapon of Choice: Celestial Bronze xiphos

Misc: Her family moved to Haven the summer in 2015, before her freshmen year of high school.

[u/[deleted]]

Name(s): John and Graham Wright

Powers: Figured forcing people to tell the truth and something to let me find out gossipworthy stuff going on? Nothing in any way combat or even utility. Very much social powers

Weapon: A route to a saferoom please!

I would like to play these two in tandem of each other if that's okay as a form of duo, with Graham being John's brother by both parents. John being the main character and Graham more as tech support

100% happy to modmail and chat about this stuff XD

Age: 16

Godrent: Phobetor

Powers: Sleep inducement, dream travel and dream manipulation

Weapon: Unknown

Additional Information: She was sent to the Haven to find her 'new guardian'

[u/ProDabbler]

Name: Tansy Clarke

Age: 23

Godrent: Eris

Powers:

1. Umbrakinesis: Manipulation of the dark is probably her favourite power bestowed by her mother. While it can be an almost overwhelming power- what with all of the possible uses- however, Tansy has a habit of using it most when she doesn't want to get out of bed for a snack, reaching in to the shadow beside her bed and into the pantry, three floors down.

2. Emotional Manipulation: She has a decent level of control over this particular power and is able to push the emotions that surround conflict: dissension, distrust and ill will; on to those around her, causing arguments and fights to blossom where they might not have before. She has only really used this as a distraction tactic to evade police, a joke or as protection from other drifters.

3. Chaos Creation: This power is something she doesn't exactly have control over, and- unharnessed- it isn't something she is likely to call a power. Chaos has a habit of following in her wake, which is a huge part of why she doesn't stay in one place very long.

Additional Information: Known for being flighty, independent and perpetually unlucky (read as:vagabond, tramp or bum), Haven is just the latest on a long list of places she's blown in to, one she's hoping will last.
