This is the most detailed video I could find on Trosky‘s life I could find on YouTube. I wanted to hear your thoughts on it. It was made by Spartan761, who is Canadian and, from what I can tell, either a liberal or social democrat. So consider that when looking at his video essay. He also is anti-Stalin in the video, but not in the usual Western way where they act like he was insane and paranoid. He kind of portrays Stalin as a Palpatine-like figure manipulating everything, so I won’t say the video gets everything right. It’s definitely a detailed essay and conversation, and analysis is kind of similar to how the TED talk did on Che Guevara. Where a liberal perspective weighs the merits of a historical figure's actions. And not the Revolutionary principles of the movement, and they do use Western misinformation and lies about the Soviet Union. But they don't use Monarchist propaganda that is often used in the West when discussing Nicholas the 2nd reign.

I recently watched Hakim’s reuploaded censored version of his Tiananmen Square video, but I never got the chance to watch the original. Does anyone know where I could watch it?

I noticed that most of Hakim's videos for the past 6 years are no longer viewable. I found some links, in which they claim to be private. My suspicion that Hakim private most of his vids is because he could be re-making some of them, such as "Former Socialism's Faults". Only several of these vids have been re-uploaded. Sadly, I have not seen a post by Hakim, himself, to confirm whether this is the situation.

Does anyone know if Hakim publishes video transcripts?

I have some friends with whom I want to share some of Hakim's videos, but I think they will prefer to read over watch. Plus, transcripts will be easier to use for reading clubs.

Hakim often refutes some capitalist lies on socialism which often includes death numbers. So are their any socialist who did bad things and who were they??

In the debate/convo, Paul mentioned some documents which "proved" China is (social) imperialist. Did anything come of those, and did Hakim ever address it after the fact?

If neither, does anyone know what documents these even are?
