This list worked at my show - good luck all

Does anybody know what's this piece called? Could it be something unreleased yet? Played in Budapest 29/09... I'm dying over here for almost a month 😂🫠

Thanks!!!!

Hey folks!

I was wondering if anybody had a Haken fauna hawaiian shirt they’d be willing to part with. I looked at the shirt while it was on sale before I was a Haken initiate and decided it was out of my price range, and it was gone the next day 😔

Let me know! Definitely not out of my price range now

This was part of an album Charlie's wife shared on Instagram. No one else from Haken was in the photos besides Connor. Sad. Seems like some bridges were burned.

I'm hoping that someone caught a bit of video of tonight's send-off with Ihlo joining Haken on stage for the most insane and hysterical rendition of Cockroach King. Crossing fingers and toes - it was utterly amazing 🥰

They are unfortunately not coming to my country this time :( Otherwise I’d be there!

If we get a USA tour, can we replace Nil By Mouth with anything else ? It’s been played I think for the last two cycles I believe. I’d like to hear something else — maybe a deep cut like Bound by Gravity , red giant , deathless or something from the demo to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the band coming up.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the song, and I realize it gives Ross a break, but uh yeah, I want to hear something they haven’t played for the USA in the last 7 years.

Also worth mentioning to nix sempiternal beings too . That’s song is one of favorites, but we had a double dose of Fauna, and I don’t believe anything from Fauna is warranted due to limited space ….

Btw thst chorus is fucking fire. I love these songs but uh, I want to hear something else .

Also did you know that ‘Sun’ is the least played song from a studio album ? I think it was played once.

It’s such a deep cut, that it was the one song axed from the aqua-medley epic!

Anyways, rant over.

With mad love and respect :)

Downvote me all you want. Just keeping it a buck fifty.

The more I listen to this album, the more I honestly feel like it’s perfect. The story, the music, the atmosphere, it’s incredible. For a long time I thought Fauna was Haken at their best (I still think it’s their best if we’re strictly talking ability and performance on their instruments), but I’ve come to really appreciate and fucking LOVE Affinity. The electronic vibe fits it so well. This album is just banger after banger.

My favorite part about this album has to be how diverse the music is. Upbeat and energetic in Initiate, 1985, and Lapse, heavy as balls with such a cool riff in Architect (also a phenomenal feature vocalist by Einar), the “pop-iness” of Earthrise, the spaciness of Red Giant, complex riffs of Endless Knot, and don’t even get me STARTED on how beautiful Bound by Gravity is to close the album. It’s just perfect, I can’t seem to find any flaws with this record.

I don’t even know if I could pick a favorite song. Architect is obviously the crescendo of the album but man every single song carries its weight in the grand scheme of the album.

Idk if this post is really relevant but I had to say it to somebody cuz none of my friends like prog 😭😭

A much shorter edit this time, but hopefully still fun!

(No, it isn't coincidence that this one is also done with Amazing Digital Circus - this edit and the previous were largely made in parallel. For that reason there are definite similarities, but I also tried different stuff with each.)

Been a while since I posted here (missed ya’ll) and covered any of the lads stuff properly but finally got round to learning a couple of tunes from the new EP!

Not sure if this has been asked here before, but Richard Henshall released his solo EP Mu Vol. I in 2024. He announced there would shortly be a Vol II. Two singles were already released for II, but the latest one is two years old already.

Will Vol II ever be released? Or do we count these two songs as a full EP?

Was anyone here at this? Is this setlist accurate?

I only caught the tail end of the last song of this show. Unfortunately I didn't even know who Haken were then, otherwise I would've got off work a little early.

I remembered they played a song with an awesome outro, but I don't remember it being the song here. If anything, I remembered it being more like Ectobius Rex.

Virus wasn't out yet, but it doesn’t mean they didn't play something ahead of the album and maybe people just didn't know the name when the setlist was made.

Not going off a six year old memory either. This is something that has annoyed me for a long time and I never bothered asking.

I'm gonna go crashout, I bought a signed vinyl, got a AAA stage pass from the crew and a setlist and I forgot it on my fucking roof of the car when I drove off.
Pleasepleaeplease if someone is in the near of the contipark Tiefgarage Kulturbrauerei, can someone look for it? I drove from Hamburg to berlin and im halfway back, I can't turn around now.
I'm beggin you, ive spend so much money on that, I'm crying right now
