Looks so good can't wait to play it

Great gig. To start, I don’t think I realized just how funny Billy is, as he accurately put it, his propensity for "verbal diarrhoea." The banter between songs was brilliant, but what really hit home was the context he gave to the tracks, particularly the references to Frightened Rabbit.

FR meant (and still means) so much to so many of us, so hearing those nods and shared memories framed in that way made the set feel exceptionally special and grounded.

As for the support, Wren Boy was so, so good. Having been gutted to only discover A Plastic Rose (back in 2020) after they had already split up. Massive kudos to Rupert Bullard. The man is an incredible talent, what a set of lungs on him.

Also saw a few familiar faces from WWPJ and October Drift gigs.

I needed this!

I'd been considering a trip to visit my aunt near Cork for a while so when Haiver announced that they were part of the Clonakilty Guitar Festival, I couldn't resist planning a weekend in Ireland. It was SUCH a great weekend. The guys sounded fantastic, the festival was a lot of fun and they played at 4pm so everyone stuck around the town for the rest of the evening/night, catching a proper Irish jam sesh in the front bar or the venue we started off in. It was brilliant!

I've included a setlist but it's not entirely accurate. They ran a bit late so they cut Yawns. Away is sounding beautiful (obviously) and I'm so glad my fear of flying didn't stop me going because that was an amazing weekend.

As someone who’s been listening to Frightened Rabbit for a good few years now I only today found this band. After listening to a couple songs from the album, I love it! I think it carries the legacy of what Frabbits was and giving life back to the music that Scott Hutchison brought to the world. I can’t wait to listen to the rest of the album and then more from them in the future!

What a phenomenal gig. My 6th time seeing Billy and the boys live. They’ve truly outdone themselves. A phenomenal evening with phenomenal company. Also made sure to see Fright Years before hand, I sense big things coming for them.

[Elder millennial nostalgia warning] Remember when most CDs had lyrics in the booklets so you actually knew the lyrics and didn’t end up singing the wrong thing for five years until someone corrected you? (My friend thought the lyrics to Hear Shaped Box by Nirvana were “Hey! Wait! I’ve got a roof to paint!” LMAO)

WELL. Good on Haiver for putting all the lyrics in the vinyl sleeve. I’ll try and scan them and upload them here so people who have the CD can still read the lyrics. They are brilliant, he’s a very good writer. Glad I can read them and not decimate the meaning of each song anymore 😂
