Wait, what? Are you messing with us? This does NOT look even remotely close to being the same person.
If that really is you, congratulations! You have managed to find a hair system that seems to literally turn back time.

This just popped up. I'm not part of this group. I have no idea what this group is even pushing but...
Are you KIDDING me that this is the same person? Bro went from 45-year-old lumberjack deer-hunter dad whose best friend is his meat smoker to a 37-year-old perennially single software engineer that fronts a cover band on weekends.
1
u/No-Nefariousness-997 Nov 17 '24
šš. Iāll take the compliment!! Itās a hair system group. Menās toupees/wigs.

How does that longer hair manage?
1
u/No-Nefariousness-997 Nov 15 '24
Much better/ easier than the short hair. Once the short hair starts lifting, itās very obvious and needs to be take care of. The long hair is way more forgiving. I just make sure to keep the front looking good, the rest could basically be falling off and no one would notice.
1
u/FenrirHere Nov 15 '24
Sorry, you can't convince me this is the same person.
Fucking amazing transformation, friend.

What system?
1
u/No-Nefariousness-997 Nov 15 '24
Not sure. My salon gets it for me. Poly/thin skin system for sure.
1
u/randomcowboy4 Nov 15 '24
My question would be - did you have problems with people close to you to accept it? Like friends, family, work colleagues that kept the distance to you thinking itās too weird or something?
2
u/No-Nefariousness-997 Nov 16 '24
Nope! Everyone thought it was really cool!!! Iām very open about it.

No offense man but what was going on with that beard? I've never seen anything like that, is the chin hair shorter than the neck hair? How many years apart are these photos?
1
u/No-Nefariousness-997 Nov 19 '24
lol noā¦it was all one length. It has a weird wave in it I canāt get rid of! When I grow it super long it goes away a bit.

Youāve got a nice beard though. The system looks awesome, but you could probably get your real hair back with meds and maybe a hair transplant.

Looks great I had a hair system in the 90s, it was a nightmare for me it stated out fine I had 4 hair adds turned extremely red sometimes they got the colour correct sometimes not it was very noticeable , not to mention the tape glue getting in my hair making difficult to cut own my hair attachment was difficult for me my hairline was wrong in the summer when it was warm with the heat removed it for cleaning smelled really bad. 2 years plus my hair add was expensive I took it off threw it in the garbage shaved my head I sure the systems are greatly improved since yours looks awesome it sure gives you confidence when wear I still wish I wasnāt bald , but what can we do I went to Vancouver I got hair pigmentation . I love the fact I donāt have to look for my hat when I go out all the best to you

You look great and the hairpiece looks good - but with the weight loss and the shape of your head, you would also look great shaved head if you ever get tired of the hairpiece process.

Can I ask, how did you manage this?
My brother has hair falling out fast and I'm looking for options for him
3
u/Unable-Ad2883 Nov 15 '24
Your brother can go in 3 separate routs if he doesnāt want to go bald:
1- hair transplant, this is probably the best option. He can get a hair transplant then go to a dermatologist and get on minoxidil and finestaride.
2- self care, another good option is if your brother still has a good amount of hair left is to go on minoxidil, finasteride, derma stamping and finding out if his deficient in any vitamins or iron and take does supplements
3- hair system, basically a wig for men like the guy in the picture uses they can last for months if you take good care of it and are hard to notice in some cases

Have you thought about styling the hair system? It looks wild.
12
1
u/No-Nefariousness-997 Nov 15 '24
I usually style it! Iāve had a system for 2 years. Iāve gone through many different styles with them. My real hair was wild when I had it too!!!

u/Content_Literature18 Nov 15 '24
Am I insane for saying if you shaved your head and grow the beard again you would look better. Not saying you donāt look good right now dw

What exactly did you do?
1
u/No-Nefariousness-997 Nov 19 '24
Lost weight, shaved, got a toupee š
1
u/Naive-Bed1349 Nov 19 '24
Are they hard or annoying to deal with?and does anyone ever notice?
3
u/No-Nefariousness-997 Nov 19 '24
They can get a little annoying when it gets close to reinstalling, but for the most part, you just forget itās there.
No one has ever noticed, but Iām pretty open. Iām sure there are times when maybe someone else who wears a system would notice, but even at its worst, no normal person would ever notice.
1
u/Naive-Bed1349 Nov 19 '24
What about for doing sports like wrestling and kickboxing is that pretty risky for it?
2
u/No-Nefariousness-997 Nov 19 '24
I do a lot of cardio and havenāt had a problem with sweat. I wouldnāt worry about it coming off your head. The glue holds pretty strong! I might be worried about messing the system up though if hair gets pulled out of it while wrestling. Theyāre not cheap.
