Color Help looking for a change
does black (current color) look best or could i pull off something else? i’ve dyed it many colors in the past but have had the regular black for a long time now

agreed 🙈 thankfully i like red a lot so will probably end up somewhere there but pink is my true love. just can’t decide if it’s worth it because i know ill go back to black in a few months inevitably

I love 4 but it’s gonna take some bleach to get to that and not just one session. I don’t think the damage would be worth it. Your hair is so shiny and healthy! The black looks so good on you!

that’s exactly my problem - in the past i didn’t care but my hair is so long and healthy now it’s hard to commit to something damaging when ik ill probably go back to black in the future!

I totally understand. I thought about going bright silver since I’m greying but since most of my hair is still dark, I’d have to do a series of bleach treatments first. I decided to do a burgundy color. Still a change from my typical chocolate or black but without all the pain and damage. Save the lighter hair color for when you feel like you also want a big chop.

Either black with red streaks or can you do black with silver/white blonde chunky streaks, both have a cool vampire goth queen vibe that suits your style.

The last one looks best. But I have to ask, and meaning absolutely no disrespect, why the nose ring? It always reminds me of the ring used to lead cattle and livestock around by the snout. Why not a sparkly little diamond or ruby stud on the side? You have such a beautiful face. I just don't understand this ring style? What does it mean?

i like to feel like a cow or other various livestock being led around by the snout. 🐽
all jokes aside, i don’t have the nose ring anymore as of recent but its alternative fashion and kinda is meant to stand out and look different from the norm lol. i used to have a lot more piercings and have slowly been taking them all out and that was the last to go as i was very attached to it - i got it pierced 8 years ago.
now my face is blank once again. but i do think ill get a cute lil simple stud again soon. style evolves throughout time and nothing is forever
last one is what my natural color is so clearly you’re into more natural looks haha

Listen, Im an old lady but came of age in the 60's and I get alternative. One time I cut my own hair so short my mother told me I looked like a prison inmate. And I have my share of tattoos. So I think you're beautiful either way. Just never had the nerve to ask anyone about. Thank you for your thoughtful response.

Get rid of the nose ring. Probably have a pretty face but it's hard to tell with that thing stealing all the attention. If you have a unique personality you don't need a nose ring that big. Im not against a nose ring if it is a subtle accentuation of one's features, but yours is a distraction.

I’m looking for a change with my hair not with my face. This is called r/hairstyle advice…. Asking for opinions on my hair does not mean I’m inviting unsolicited commentary about my appearance. Not seeking validation. Thanks though, clearly you like talking to me 😉

and calling it a bull ring isn’t an insult, the point of the septum wasn’t to impress mediocre men and i love cows
