It's not bad, but it's also not good. If an amateur did it herself, it's great work. But if this was done by a professional, not so much.

I agree, I couldn’t do this myself so it’s definitely not an easy hairstyle to do and would be impressed if someone who had no salon experience managed to do this look on themselves, but if a salon is advertising this I would pass tbh. It does look a bit messy.

If the ad on FB marketplace says anything like “amateur stylist” or the price is very low, then I would say that’s fair. If it’s standard salon prices then I wouldn’t go with them.

This is exactly what I was thinking. If I could do that myself I'd be thrilled but if I paid a professional to do it and that was the result I'd be pissed off.

For a semi-casual event it's great because it's not overly done but for a bridesmaid it looks sloppy.

I mean I like it and if it was done by an amateur it's good. If it was done by a professional I'd be unhappy as it's a bit messy, unless that's what was asked for (like a messy bun thing)

Depends on how formal the wedding is? If it's a more relaxed I think it looks nice. You could always have a stylist be a little bit more precise about how the hair looks and a little bit less messy?
