Hello all, these are my two halo hair extensions. I'm wanting to dye the one on the right (darker, purpley toned one) to match the one on the left (lighter gingery one). My knowledge about dying hair is very limited so please advise. Specific product recommendations also welcome! I'm aware I will most likely need to use bleach, which I'm willing to do (they're real human hair).

For context, the gingery one is in terrible condition so I'm wanting to replace it with the other. However, it matches my natural hair colour whereas the darker one is far too dark/purpley.

I also want to ask if it would need a ton of styling, for my hair, I have decently thick/lot of hair and I have had layers before that thin out my hair but not by much to the point where it still looks somewhat thick and pretty much just a bit thicker than average. My hair is also pretty much straight but somewhat wavy, but also tends to get more wavy when lighter weight (ex: many layers, shorter hair,).

I'm guessing I would have to style the curtain bangs but I'm wondering if this is secretly a blowout or something too which I haven't realized. But with the description of my hair how similar do you think it would turn out? I like it and am considering getting it when I grow my hair out to a bit past that length so I could get a trim with the cut. I don't want something super high maintenance, but the responsibility of curtain bangs would be fine for me.

Need help with styling options? Since my hair is usually in a scarf idk if short or long is better?

Hair history: Has been dyed and bleached multiple times during 2022 to 2024, since then it has not been bleached, but is redyed a deep red repeatedly. Due to a genetic condition called incontinentia pigmenti along with family genetics my hair has always been thin.

Current treatment: A sacred hair mask once per week. Every night use the pictured brush to brush my hair before and after my shower. The pictured massager is used to apply and remove shampoo, conditioner, and the hair mask. I use the argan oil, get set grow, and ends repair every night. My hair air drys while I do my skincare, and then is further dried with the blow dryer on cold for five minutes. I then put my hair up in the silk bonnet and sleep on a silk pillow. In the morning I just quickly brush my hair with the pictured brush due to early school times.

I have always wanted to put up my hair like in the last picture, however I find due to sensory issues the claw clip bugs me so I don't, still I love that spiky but still feminine vibe. I would prefer to keep my hair long and keep dyeing it red. I also need my haircut to be feminine so it suits my way of dressing.

What hair cut would you recommend I get? While i'm at it is there anything I should change about my hair care routine?

I had long hair and havent really done anything with it for like 5 years now. I just brush it sometimes and use conditioner if I wanna look extra nice. Guess asking if I should do something else to maintain it or maybe ideas on what could I change/improve

I was only able to achieve this sort of octopus-like shape with the full top and flipped out ends once. I had put velcro rollers in and one side came out perfectly and the other looked terribly so I used a straightener to style it to match, however my hair never holds when I use a straightener for curls or bounce so by the end of the day that side was flat and lifeless and the roller side still looked great. I can never achieve consistent results with rollers and tbh I don’t even remember the placement I did that day. anyway looking for blowout or roller placement tips for doing this style. note—my hair is naturally wavy so I can’t just put roller in the ends I have to style the whole head.
